Deleting a channel or a photo

Written by Brice Gramm

Delete a channel

Only the channel's owner can delete it.

  1. In Channels, open the channel's menu and choose delete channel.

  2. Type the channel's name exactly as shown, then confirm.

You can't undo this. The channel leaves your channel list, its gallery and its photo pages (the links guests were sent) stop opening, and its guests' entries leave Leads and your lead exports.

Photo zips and lead files you've already downloaded, and leads already sent to your other tools, aren't affected. Guests who already received a photo may still have a copy.

Want the channel out of the way but not gone? Archive it instead: choose archive channel from the same menu. It moves to the archived filter. To restore it, contact us.

Delete a photo

The channel's owner and its admins can delete a single photo.

  1. Open the channel's gallery (channel menu, View Gallery) while you're signed in.

  2. Choose the photo's delete button, then confirm. You'll see "GIF deleted".

You can't undo this. The photo leaves the gallery and its photo page stops opening.

A guest asked you to delete their photo or details

Email [email protected] with the channel name and the guest's email address or phone number, and we'll delete that guest's contact details. If the guest has asked us to stop texting them, we keep their number on our do-not-text list so we can honor that. To take their photo out of your gallery, delete it as described above.
