The iPad is online (check the status screen). Photos wait in a queue while offline and send when it reconnects.
The channel is loaded and active.
The camera is allowed. If you see "Camera access is blocked on this iPad", whoever manages the iPad must allow it.
The start screen shows "start photo booth".
